Breakfast Farro

Time to mix up your standard oatmeal breakfast routine and give farro a try.



1/2 cup farro

1 3/4 cup water

1 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup 

1/4 cup of milk (skim, 1 %, almond, etc)

1/4 tsp cinnamon

Fresh fruit of choice



In a small saucepan add farro and water and bring to a boil.  Once it is bubbling, cover and lower heat and let simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the farro is fully cooked and water has been absorbed.


Stir in maple syrup, milk, and cinnamon and top with fresh fruit.  


Tip: Prepare a large batch of farro at one time so you can get several days out of it to save time.
