Age 4-8: 1000 mg
Age 9-18: 1300 mg
Age 19-50: 1000 mg
Age 51-70: 1000 mg for males and 1200 mg for females

1 cup of milk = 300 mg
1/2 cup of cottage cheese = 65 mg
1/2 cup of ice cream = 100 mg
1 cup of yogurt = 450 mg
1 oz mozzarella cheese = 200 mg
