Jim has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology from West Chester University. In addition, he is a graduate from the Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy and is licensed in massage therapy. Jim is trained in Swedish, deep tissue and bamboo sports massage. Other certifications include Medi-Cupping, Kinesio Taping and fitness instruction.
Jim has over 20 years of experience in physical rehabilitation, exercise prescription, wellness promotion, corrective bodywork and massage. He continues to enjoy making a difference with each person and challenge that he is presented with. His specialty has developed into regional muscle work, with a combination of focused soft tissue techniques while incorporating range of motion, stretching and exercise to these personalized sessions. When done right, like anything else, corrective massage is a powerful tool that will make noticeable improvements with each session.
When the work day is over, Jim enjoys occasional strength training, being active with most sports and just being outside. When the weather is nice, Jim enjoys vegetable gardening, yard work, outdoor projects and hiking with a demanding family of seven.
Shelley attended the Pennsylvania Institute of Massage Therapy in Quakertown, PA. Shelley received her massage license in 2002 and has gained experience working with chiropractic patients, sports injuries and other chronic conditions. Shelley believes in a holistic approach for the body to heal. Shelley continues to attend lectures to improve her knowledge in the massage field.
Shelley resides in Emmaus, PA and enjoys hiking, watching football, volunteering and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Kristie received her degree in Massage Therapy at the Academy of Massage Therapy and Body Works in Pottstown, PA. This was a career change for her as prior to that she worked as a speech therapist with children and adults. She received her bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from Penn State University and her master’s degree from Bloomsburg University in Speech-Language Pathology. She is excited to begin her new career as a massage therapist. She completed 600 hours of classroom work in Anatomy and physiology and over 40 hours of clinical massage in the school clinic using a variety of techniques including deep tissue and Swedish massage.
She lives in Limerick with her husband and three children. She enjoys yoga, hikes with her dog, and spending time with her family.
Monica graduated from the Pennsylvania School of Massage Therapy in 2003 with certificates in Professional Massage Therapy and Corrective Medical Massage. She has been NCBTMB certified since December 2003, and received an Associates degree in Muscle Therapy and Integrated Healthcare from Harcum College in 2004. The continuing education classes she has taken have included a variety of modalities from energy work to massage cupping which allow her to support the healing needs of almost anyone in some manner. Monica enjoys working to improve the lives of others by reducing tension and pain and improving range of motion. Monica is a native of Schwenksville. She enjoys dancing, outdoor activities, cross stitch, and learning how to improve her overall health.
